There were some bad people....

"I was born in Somalia and live in Pelican Rapids. For those of you who don't know there is a civil war going on in Somalia. It started about when I was born am 13 now. There were some bad people they would come to people's houses and start robbing or kill them. They would also stop buses and rob and kill travelers. My cousin was coming to Kenya to run away from the war in Somalia. While he was coming from Somalia, some bad people stopped him and robbed him and some of the other passengers. My family is now all over the world some are in America some are in South Africa some are in Europe and some are in Somalia. I feel sad for the ones that live in Somalia. Now I will tell you about my story......"

Abshir Muhamed Hussein, age 13, will read from the rest of his story All Endings Are Also Beginnings, from Otter Tail Review, Volume Two at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th at the Pelican Rapids Public Library. Other local authors will also read from their works. Channel 5 will broadcast the readings during the evening of November 7th and the morning of November 8th.

Is there any way this could be put on Channel 5? I am unable to attend but would love to hear all the authors.
