Just a little message for the editor of this blog... you missed a wonderful opportunity to share with the community and relate to others what Pelican Rapids is all about... Saturday, November 18th, a group of volunteers built a garage for Bob and Kathy Hanson, (parents of our fallen soldier, Joshua Robert Hanson.) This would have been a wonderful opportunity to share with others how a small community comes together in times of trial. Friends, neighbors, and co-workers of Kathy and Bob surprised them with the garage raising. (The Hansons had planned on building the garage before Josh's tragedy). They were away for the day and when they arrived home at approximately 6:00 p.m. the garage was almost complete. The participants even hung Christmas lights for the Hansons. It was a wonderful day and a great show of support for the Hanson family. Does anyone have pictures of the event to share with the editor?
