Lake Region Electrical Cooperative is out of the 2007 gate early with a new look News Flashes newsletters. Was your first response might be the same as mine? Dave still gets the first two pages, Cec is down the road a piece with Jo hot on his tail. I couldn't find the January 2007 News Flashes on the LRCEA website yet. You could save the postage for mine and just email it to me. Leave a copy on your corporate site for me to refer to later for Jo's recipes and Cec's memoirs....oops, also to remind myself what was on Dave's mind. More details about Board actions, the how and why, would also be welcome. Otherwise, the new look is fresh and welcome. ISD548, the City of Pelican Rapids and - dare I say - Jennie-O, the life blood of this town, would do well to take note.

This surprisingly deep instrument is probably too complicated for its own
good.

I can't wait to get my copy. I also agree that more details of the LREA board meetings would be welcome. With the current board's members, there has NEVER been more of a need for us to scrutinize the board's EVERY action. If my service and stability of the start to suffer because of the board's personal feelings and cost cutting measures, I can almost promise an outrage. I can promise my outrage. I just hope the last few months of the new board doesn't destroy what took years upon years to build. We shouldn't fix what wasn't broken.

I respectfully ask, will you also promise a big display if the new board improves the coop? Lets see what happens before we get into this dog fight again.
I would also like to see more of the board information in the newsletter. This is something that should have been in the news letter all along.

it's nice to see one of our new tax watch dog reps not paying his property tax on time. I guess this is fiscal responsibility >
