Where the Wild Turkey roamed (The changing face of Otter Tail County)

Three Mile Woods has been the Sherwood Forest of my commute for the past thirty years. The Chapins and the Dutchers carved niches out of the woods long ago. The deer and lately the wild turkey have used the pasture on the southern edge of Sherwood Forest for R&R. Now they will have to find another place. The snowmobile trail goes (went) right up this hill. First the lakeshore, next the islands, now every grove of trees. Will it be a house or a trailer?

56572's back yard a wasteland!? Not if Wild Bill on San Dee Cove Drive has anything to say about it! Have him show you the "Pink Palace" and other landfill- quality estates that he and others are trying to get cleaned up by the property owners! He won't quit until it is Wild Turkey Heaven!
